Argument continues over cracked floors
The North Platte Telegraph Disagreements continue regarding floor conditions in the new Lincoln County jail. Last week, jail inspector Kirk Nichols said some of the floors have milky spots that appear to be caused by grout, standing water and other liquids that spilled. He said the stains are polished over, and the concrete is pawned off as a finished floor.

Langlois indicted in Forklifts murder
Mark Langlois, accused of killing the general manager and executive vice president of a South Toledo business was indicted today by a Lucas County grand jury.

Bylaw would force diesel engines to reduce soot output
Metro Vancouver is close to approving a new bylaw that aims to cut the number of older, diesel-belching forklifts, graders, railway switches and other non-road engines throughout the region.
