it would be completely illegal to pull a load like that with anything less than a class 8 truck , an F350 is registered to pull up to 25,999 lbs and that includes the weight of the truck and trailer , however i have seen people i know hauling hay with trucks like that weighing over 50,000 lbs with no problems as long as you don't get caught . As far as hooking air brakes on a truck like that it is possible but would very expensive and you would be better off to stick with the semi trucks or buy a different trailer and carry lighter loads

I endlessly search for intelligence regarding new information on lift trucks. Here is an important question that I expect you would find entertaining.

Question by hellnocutco: Need to identify a part of a dumptruck....?
I need to find out the name of the bin on the back of a dumptruck that the garbage is initially placed in, before being lifted into the larger main container.

Garbage truck, not a dump truck.....

I would think that the container you are referring to is just a dumpster.

Question: Lifting and buying tires for a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 2012?

I forever search for intelligence regarding new information on forklifts. Here is an important question that I expect you would find amusing.

Question by Arboc Commander: Lifting and buying tires for a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 2012?
I recently bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab (4 complete doors) I am new to the lifting and big tires game. I used to drive a chevy silverado (2000 1500 2wd) so all i did was put a custom box and two 10'' subwoofers. But now, I want my truck to be a man's truck. I want to lift it up and put bigger tires but I don't know where to start with how high my lift should be and what is a reasonable size and any other parts I would need to pull this off. All help is good help. Thank you!!!!

Answer by RAWR
Personally, I don't think Dodge Rams look good lifted. The way they're shaped just makes it look kind of awkward when they have the big tires and suspension, but I've seen a few good looking ones, so do what you will.

Just go to a shop that does it and hire them to do it. Go somewhere with a good rep, like 4 Wheel Parts, you don't want someone doing it for cheap, it'll fuck up your truck. And if your new to the business, don't do it yourself please. All you do is order a lift kit, (pro comp, fabtech, and tuff country, are all good brands) they should come with all the parts necessary. Then you need to buy new tires and wheels to go with it.

The lift kit in itself usually isn't all that expensive. The new wheels and tires are what's gonna cost ya. The lift kit, tires, wheels, and labor costs for my truck came to right about $ 6,000.

As far as what to get, that's up to you. Here's my opinion. DO NOT go over a ten inch lift, it looks stupid, makes you look like your overcompensating, and will fuck up your truck in the long run. DO NOT get a body lift, it will also fuck up your truck. DO get a suspension lift, that's the right way to go. And DO get six inch lift if your looking to make your truck look cool without hindering performance all too much.

As for tire and wheel size: 20x10 inch rims look good on any lift, if your going with a 6 inch suspension, get 35 inch tires, 8 inch suspension: 37 inch tires, 10 inch suspension: 38 inch to 40 inch tires. Any more than that, and be prepared for everyone to make jokes about your penis size
