In the glow of the rising sun, life begins to stir at the building just south of the intersection of Bell Avenue and Mingo Road in Denton. A worker uses a forklift to transfer 50-pound bags on wooden pallets from the overnight storage area to a patch of concrete outside the front door. Inside the feed store, a white-haired man is perched on a stool behind a long counter built in the 1860s.
