It really depends on your personal taste. I know many people will scoff at the idea, but Toyota Tundras and Tacomas are very fine trucks. Extremely reliable, and powerful. Chevy also makes a good truck. I'm guessing you will be hauling stuff around a lot so I would find which truck produces the most low end torque and that gives you good features and is a good truck for going offroad. Also, if adding on to your truck is your kind of thing, some manufacturers will offer aftermarket parts for their vehicles. I know that Toyota used to offer a supercharger for their trucks that was covered under warranty, if you wanted more oomph for "towing" not sure if they still do but you could check. Like I said though, it really comes down to personal taste. From what I know, the Tundra and Ram have the highest low end torque figures. Horsepower is not nearly as important to trucks. "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races" or in your case tows the weight.
